Mental Health Awareness Week

18th - 24th May 2020




The theme for mental health awareness week is 'kindness'. We can think about kindness as something that you do for others, but also kindness towards yourself. From research, we know that kindness and our mental health are deeply connected. Kindness can help us to feel less isolated and give us a sense of belonging, which is something that is very important at this time. Kindness also reduces our feelings of stress and deepens our friendships. Kindness can even improve feelings of confidence and optimism; kindness really does matter!

At St Vincent's, we have a school filled with kindness so we are very excited to see what you will produce this week to celebrate and showcase your acts of kindness...
