World Mental Health Day

11th October 2021
Today we celebrated World Mental Health day in school, wearing a rainbow of colours to celebrate what makes us all different, individual, special and unique.

Children thought about the range of emotions that they experience and how to manage these in different ways. They also considered how screen time, and being online can impact on mental health and wellbeing.

We were very lucky to welcome 2 visitors into school too:

PCSO Heaps spoke to Year 5 and 6 about hate crime awareness, and the impact this can have on wellbeing and mental health

Helen from the Warrington and Halton Hospital Charity joined us for assembly where we introduced our School Council Mental Health Champions.

Thank you for your generous support of the work done by the Warrington and Halton Hospital Charity.
